These are the most frequently asked questions we have received to date. If your question is not covered here, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will be happy to help you.

Q: What videotape formats do you accept?
A: VHS, VHS-C, 8mm, Hi-8, Digital 8, Mini DV Cassettes
Q: Will you process copyrighted materials?
A: Videotapes of copyrighted materials may not be submitted for conversion or copy without the written and verifiable permission of the copyright owner.
Q: Will you process illegal or obscene materials?
A: We will not knowingly process any videotape that contains illegal or obscene content. If such material is discovered, we reserve the right to refuse service for that particular order.
Q: How long do your services take?
A: Turnaround time depends on our current workload for the type of service that you have requested. You will be given an estimated completion date when your order is received and contacted when your order is complete.
Q: What is the quality of the video on the DVD?
A: Video is processed in the MPEG-2 format to ensure high video quality, however the ultimate quality of the video depends on the quality of the original video at the time of transfer.
Q: How much video can you process onto a DVD?
A: Up to two hours of high quality video can be put onto one DVD (compressed in MPEG-2 format). It is possible to fit up to six hours of video onto one DVD, however the video quality is substantially reduced. For that reason we suggest dividing larger segments into two hour increments.
Q: What are the benefits of transferring my videotape onto a DVD?
A: Transferring your videotape onto a DVD allows you to preserve precious memories. Unlike videotape, which can degrade significantly in as little as ten years, a properly taken care of DVD will last for hundreds of years and will look just as good each time you view it.
Q: Which DVD Players will work with my DVD?
A: Your DVD will play on most DVD players however there will be some, particularly older models, that will not be able to read your DVD. Be sure that your model can read and play DVD-R format.
Q: Will you return my original videotape?
A: Absolutely. When processing is complete your original videotape and any other of your content will be returned with your order.
Q: I am concerned about the loss of my videotape.
A: We are very sensitive about the handling of your precious memories. The only time your videotape or materials will ever leave our office will be when they are returned to you.
Q: What about the privacy of my videotape?
A: Only authorized personnel will be directly involved with the contents of your videotape or materials. We absolutely will not distribute or reproduce images or scenes from your video or materials that are not a part of your order and being produced specifically for you.
Q: Can you edit my movie for me?
A: Yes, however editing is very time consuming and can become very expensive. After viewing your source footage, we can provide a quote for editing services based on the services you desire.
